MS62 Deep Mirror Prooflike
1879-CC $1 MS62 Deep Mirror Prooflike PCGS. CAC. This piece
should prove to be overwhelmingly appealing, not only for the
legions of Morgan dollar collectors, but even more so for those
whose primary collecting goal is Deep Mirror Prooflike pieces. Many
1879-CC Morgans show partial prooflikeness, but few indeed offer
sufficiently deep field-device contrast to qualify for this much
more elusive appellation. Frosty snow-white surfaces yield rich
contrast with profoundly reflective mirrors, providing the coveted
black-on-silver appearance so admired in these coins. Population:
