Description

Charming 1879-CC Morgan Dollar, MS62

1879-CC $1 MS62 NGC. While its mintage of 756,000 pieces does not suggest a scarce issue, the 1879-CC is one of the more difficult Carson City dollars to locate in Mint State grades. Dazzling cartwheel luster radiates beneath the lightly frosted and untoned surfaces. The hair above Liberty's ear is slightly weak, as typical, and there are scattered light grazes throughout. An attractive and relatively affordable example of this popular issue.(Registry values: P7, N1793)
