Description

Pursued 1879-CC Morgan, MS62

1879-CC $1 MS62 PCGS. Sun-gold margins invigorate this otherwise brilliant rare date Carson City dollar. The cheek displays the customary number of small abrasions for the MS62 level, but the obverse field is lightly marked for the grade. The enormous popularity of the CC-mint portion of the Morgan dollar series continues to pressure the three scarcest issues: the '89-CC, '79-CC, and '93-CC.(Registry values: P7, N1793)
