Semikey 1879-CC Morgan Dollar, MS62
1879-CC $1 MS62 PCGS. Normal Mintmark. Powerful semiprooflike luster graces the fields and complements the sharply defined design elements. Myriad abrasions cover each side, as typical for the grade, but none merit specific mention. The 1879-CC is a semikey issue in the series and Bowers (2005) estimates that hundreds of thousands were melted under the 1918 Pittman Act.
