Description

1879-CC Morgan Dollar, MS64
VAM-5, Semiprooflike Fields

1879-CC $1 MS64 NGC. VAM-5. The 1879-CC is the most challenging Carson City Morgan dollar issue struck prior to the 1885 cessation of coinage at the Old West facility. Choice examples are desirable, and the present coin is especially pleasing due to semiprooflike fields and a nice strike. One field scuff below WE, but otherwise ideal for the advanced collector.(Registry values: P7, N2998)
