Radiant Near-Gem 1879-CC Dollar
1879-CC $1 MS64 NGC. Radiant cartwheels beam on each side of
this silver-white near-Gem coin, an example of one of the most
popular CC-mint Morgans. A couple of grazes on the cheek and the
breast on the reverse are the only singular contact, although they
likely preclude a Gem grade. Much appeal emanates from the satiny
surfaces, and the next owner will count him- or herself extremely
fortunate to possess this marvelous coin. NGC has certified 39
