Description

Exceptional MS64 1879-CC Dollar

1879-CC $1 MS64 PCGS. The low mintage and low availability make the 1879-CC the key to the early Carson City dollars. Only 756,000 pieces were struck and high grade examples are exceptionally scarce. The surfaces on this piece are bright and highly lustrous with the usual semireflective gleam in the fields. The striking details are strong throughout, and the only mark of any note is located on the reverse to the right of the eagle's right (facing) wing. (Registry values: P7, N2998)
