Description

Lustrous Choice 1879-CC Morgan

1879-CC $1 MS64 PCGS. Boldly struck, lustrous, and nearly untoned with smooth fields and a few minor grazes on Liberty's face. Much scarcer than its 1878-CC predecessor. It is curious that all 1879-CC dollars are the Third Reverse subtype, while two 1880-CC VAMs bear the Second Reverse design.(Registry values: P7, N2998)
