1879-S $1 Reverse of 1878, VAM-4, MS64 PCGS. A Top 100 Variety. Rich apple-green and golden-brown toning embraces this coruscating and crisply struck Choice silver dollar. Marks are minimal and the eye appeal is compelling. The 1879-S is a plentiful date, but a supermajority of pieces are the Third Reverse subtype.
