1879-S $1 Reverse of 1878, VAM-9, MS64 PCGS. CAC. A Top 100 Variety. Only a trace of golden patina visits this lustrous and well struck silver dollar. Marks are minimal, and the eye appeal is exceptional for the MS64 level. The Second Reverse VAM-9 has a pair of die lines within the serif of the L in LIBERTY and distinctive die scratches within the ribbon loop.Coin Index Numbers: (Variety PCGS# 133858, Base PCGS# 7094, Greysheet# 25117)
