1880 $1 MS66 PCGS. As with most Morgan dollar issues with high mintages (in this case 12+ million pieces), it is remarkable how few examples have survived in high grades. Probably around 100 pieces are actually known in MS66 condition, as certified by PCGS and NGC (2/10). This is an immaculate coin that displays frosted mint luster.
