Description

1880/79-CC Dollar, MS66
Reverse of 1878, Top 100 VAM-4

1880/79-CC $1 Reverse of 1878, VAM-4, MS66 PCGS. A Top 100 Variety. A memorable die marriage that pairs the obsolete Type Two reverse with the most prominent overdate of the Morgan dollar series. The present lustrous Premium Gem has a wisp of sun-gold toning, although many observers would call it brilliant. Crisply struck and carefully preserved.
