1880-CC $1 8/7, Reverse of 1878, VAM-7, MS66 PCGS. A Hit List 40 Variety. Well struck with satiny, brilliant mint luster and well-preserved fields. Liberty's cheek is nearly flawless and shows frosty luster. This is a popular Reverse of 1878 variety, showing a short dash beneath the second 8 in the date. At least two sets of clash marks appear near Liberty's throat.
