1880-CC $1 MS66 PCGS. VAM-10. 8/7 Dash and Doubled 8. This Van Allen-Mallis variety shows the characteristic dash beneath the second 8 (remains of a low 7 underdigit), with doubling noted at the top of the lower loop of the first 8. A hint of tan toning appears in the reverse fields of this otherwise untoned example.(Registry values: P4, N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2542, PCGS# 7100, GSID# 7465)
