Description
1880-O $1 MS64 PCGS. Dramatic steel, lemon, teal, and lilac toning envelops the obverse, which contrasts sharply against the brilliant and frosty reverse. Semiprooflike luster on the obverse radiates beneath the vivid toning, and the reverse shows a splendid cartwheel effect throughout. Scattered bagmarks are visible in the fields, but there are none of any significance. PCGS has certified a mere 21 pieces finer (6/08).(Registry values: P6, N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2543, PCGS# 7114, GSID# 7474)
