Description
1880-S $1 MS65 ★ NGC. An arc of yellow-gold, ruby-red, and ocean-blue dominates the right obverse border and garners the coveted Star designated from NGC. The reverse remains brilliant. The Large S mintmark has a repunched upper serif. A faint fingerprint is seen near Liberty's jaw, but the only discernible contact is on the upper left obverse field.(Registry values: P1, N208)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2544, PCGS# 7118, GSID# 7476)
