Marvelously Toned 1880-S Dollar, MS68
1880-S $1 MS68 NGC. Medium S. A tale of two sides, with the reverse silver-white while the obverse has spectacular original toning. A narrow arc of ocean-blue encircles about three-quarters of the obverse rim, while the center boasts lavish amber-gold deepening to tangerine and cinnamon. The strike is impeccable, and only the most trivial marks appear. A small strikethrough appears to the left of the eagle's neck.
