Only Five Numerically Finer
1880-S $1 MS68 PCGS. CAC. This stunning example displays
rich silver luster with somewhat reflective fields. The coin is
sharply struck with no major marks or abrasions, with only a light
graze near the eagle's wing being the only thing notable. While one
of the most prevalent dates within the series, the 1880-S is far
scarcer in Superb Gem and PCGS has only certified five examples
numerically finer (2/26).(Registry values: P1, N1793)From The Stoebner Family Collection.
