1881 $1 MS66 PCGS. Exceptionally clear, frost-white surfaces with satiny luster complement a sharp strike on this better-date Morgan dollar. While the PCGS population has increased substantially at the MS66 level over the past 20 years, very few coins are certified any finer. This highly attractive Premium Gem remains in its older blue label holder from a previous appearance in one of our auctions. This is a real opportunity for the dollar enthusiast to acquire an unquestionably high-end example of a conditionally elusive Philadelphia date. PCGS reports just five numerically finer 1881 silver dollars (6/18).
