1881 $1 MS66 PCGS. Although the 1881-S is common in MS66, its Philadelphia counterpart is far scarcer at that level. The 1881 is regularly encountered in Mint State, but usually as MS63 or MS64. The present lightly toned and impressive Premium Gem is nicely struck and exhibits only a few delicate luster grazes. Population: 63 in 66, 2 finer (9/09).(Registry values: P4, N1793)
