Description

Outstanding MS67 1881-CC Silver Dollar

1881-CC $1 MS67 NGC. Dazzling cartwheel luster enhances the brilliant surfaces of this needle-sharp specimen. Several wispy luster grazes do not detract. The 1881-CC had a relatively low mintage of 296,000 pieces, but a significant number were present in the GSA hoard and it its easily located in most grades. Superb Gems, however, are scarce, and anything higher is very rare. NGC and PCGS combined report just six examples finer (8/09).(Registry values: P4, N2998)
