Description
1881-S $1 MS67 NGC. CAC. The predominantly sun-gold reverse cedes to arcs of ruby-red and navy-blue near the exergue. The obverse is brilliant save for a rich band of orange-gold across the margin. The reverse is prooflike, the obverse has blazing cartwheel luster, and both sides are well struck and unabraded save for faint marks near the arrowheads.(Registry values: P1, N991)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2549, PCGS# 7130, GSID# 7486)
