Description
1882 $1 MS66 Prooflike NGC. Frosty silver devices are untoned and show minor luster grazes rather than mentionable marks, providing deep contrast against the brightly mirrored fields, a perceptible silver-on-black appearance. A small scrape appears behind the cap in the obverse field. A great-looking example of this date, and the sole Prooflike at NGC (10/14).(Registry values: P3, N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 254A, PCGS# 7133, GSID# 7489)
