Desirable 1882-O/S VAM-4 Dollar, MS64
1882-O/S $1 MS64 PCGS. VAM-4. The recessed S under the O is characteristic of VAM-4, one of three different die varieties of the 1882-O/S mintmark variety. This brilliant specimen is just shy of the Gem category. It is well defined with frosty white luster and wispy toning. PCGS has only certified a single finer example (8/08).(Registry values: P5, N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 254D, PCGS# 7138, GSID# 7513)
