Description
Splendid 1882-O/S Dollar, MS64 PCGS
1882-O/S $1 Weak MS64 PCGS. VAM-5. A Top 100 Variety. Lovely light orange color enriches the margins. The centers are generally brilliant, although the cheek possesses a hint of gold patina. Well struck for a New Orleans issue from this era despite a few unimportant, mint-made roller marks on the obverse center. A well preserved and impressive near-Gem. Population: 21 in 64, none finer (10/04).(#87138)Coin Index Numbers: (Variety PCGS# 87138, Base PCGS# 7136, GSID# 7511)
