1882-S $1 MS68 NGC. CAC. Fantastically lustrous and virtually pristine with minimal patina. This gorgeous Superb Gem has much in common with the more famous 1880-S and 1881-S dates, in that its immediately apparent visual qualities are just as remarkable. Only the slightest trace of striking softness at the hair over the ear acts as a harbinger of things to come.
