Description

1883-CC Dollar, MS67
Nearly Unsurpassed Quality

1883-CC $1 MS67 PCGS. VAM-5A. This untoned Superb Gem showcases thickly frosted devices and cartwheel mint luster. The cheek is remarkably clean. Indeed, each side is essentially mark-free. Virtual unsurpassable quality for this popular Carson City Morgan issue. VAM-5A has a doubled date, a repunched CC mintmark, obverse die clashes and a gouge extending out of the eagle's mouth. PCGS reports only seven numerically finer examples (3/26).
