Description

Worthy Near-Gem 1883-S Silver Dollar

1883-S $1 MS64 PCGS. Golden-brown and rose toning clings to the peripheries of this highly lustrous and exactingly struck near-Gem. The reverse is nearly pristine, and the obverse field also has minimal contact. The 1883-S is much scarcer in Mint State than prior San Francisco Morgan issues.(Registry values: P7, N2998)
