Description
Lustrous Near-Gem 1883-S Silver Dollar
1883-S $1 MS64 PCGS. This flashy near-Gem is untoned, and the surfaces display intense cartwheel luster that produces dazzling splendor in the fields, especially when the piece is rotated beneath a lamp. Well struck and attractive, with decent definition in the centers. There are a few scuff marks on each side that preclude a Gem grade assessment.(Registry values: P7, N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 254K, PCGS# 7148, GSID# 7522)
