Scarce 1883-S Morgan, MS64
1883-S $1 MS64 PCGS. The first scarce San Francisco Mint Morgan dollar, the 1883-S follows the plentiful 1878-S through 1882-S dollars. This piece has a strong mintage of 6.25 million coins; however, nearly all entered circulation and few have been preserved in Mint State grades. Both sides have satiny silver luster, sharp details, and untoned surfaces.
