Description

1883-S Morgan Dollar, MS64
Sharply Struck Example

1883-S $1 MS64 PCGS. The 1883 San Francisco branch mint Morgan dollar had an ample mintage of over 6 million coins, but the issue becomes uncommon at the Choice Uncirculated grade level. This lovely example has light champagne toning over frosty luster throughout the surfaces. Only light contact marks are seen, with none of them distracting. The strike is sharp with excellent definition of design elements.(Registry values: P7, N2998)
