Description
1884-S $1 AU58 NGC. Crispy struck and mostly untoned, save for a hint of rose color on the reverse. Both sides exhibit highly reflective semiprooflike surfaces. A number of faint hairlines are noted, along with a few small milling marks. The 1884-S is among the most difficult Morgan dollars to find in grades higher than About Uncirculated.(Registry values: P9, N491)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 254P, PCGS# 7156, GSID# 7528)
