Description

1884-S $1 AU58 PCGS. CAC. Most 1884-S dollars saw extensive circulation, and today they are difficult to find in Uncirculated condition, and are virtually impossible to locate in grades finer than MS62. This briefly circulated piece has delightful hazel toning around the perimeter, with medium gray patina across the central design elements. Splendid cartwheel luster shines from each side, and there are only minimal abrasions throughout. (Registry values: P9, N491)
