1884-S $1 AU58 PCGS. Morgan dollar specialists have speculated that a bag or two of 1884-S dollars spent an evening in use at a Nevada casino, one possible cause for the much larger number of AU examples relative to those in full Mint State. The present lightly toned piece has a sharp strike and nearly complete cartwheel luster.
