Description
1884-S Morgan Dollar, Sharpness of MS60
1884-S $1 --Genuine--PCGS. The present piece is certified "Genuine" by PCGS but it ungraded by that service. We call it an MS60 Cleaned piece, due to the somewhat flat, diffuse luster visible on the silver-white surfaces, with tinges of grayish-gold near the rims. The overall effect is not too displeasing, and the 1884-S remains a rare issue in Mint State.(Registry values: P9, N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 254P, PCGS# 7156, GSID# 7528)
