Description
Elusive 1884-S Dollar, MS61
1884-S $1 MS61 ICG. Worn examples of the 1884-S Morgan are plentiful today, as large quantities were released into circulation in the late 19th century. Mint State pieces are elusive in all levels. This is a well struck specimen, including in the centers, areas that are often weak. Luminous, essentially untoned surfaces reveal a few scattered minute marks.(Registry values: P9, N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 254P, PCGS# 7156, GSID# 7528)
