Scarce MS62 1884-S Morgan Dollar
1884-S $1 MS62 NGC. A bit softly struck in the centers, but mostly lustrous and showing light pastel-golden toning over both sides. There are several small to medium-sized marks, as one would expect for a coin at this grade level. The 1884-S is a notoriously scarce and difficult issue in Mint State, compared to other Morgan dollars with similar mintage levels.(Registry values: P9, N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 254P, PCGS# 7156, GSID# 7528)
