Description

1885-CC $1 MS66 PCGS. Lustrous silver-gray surfaces display partially prooflike fields that offer a mild contrast with frosty design elements that are sharply impressed, though the hair over Liberty's ear and the eagle's breast feathers are a tad soft in places. Both sides are impeccably preserved, revealing just a few minor luster grazes in the left (facing) obverse fields. PCGS has certified only 38 coins finer (4/09).(Registry values: P4, N1793)
