Description
1885-O $1 MS67 NGC. A phenomenally toned, high grade piece. The obverse exhibits vivid yellow, gold, and violet toning across the entire surface, with a hint of ruby along the rim. That side is in sharp contrast to the reverse, which is mostly brilliant except for a little gold and lavender that spills over the edge. Splendid cartwheel luster can be seen beneath the obverse toning. NGC has certified only nine finer (06/08).(Registry values: P1, N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 254T, PCGS# 7162, GSID# 7532)
