1886 $1 Doubled Date, VAM-20, MS64 PCGS. This Hot 50 variety
is an important die marriage with the date strongly doubled. There
are only three 1886 varieties on the Top 100 list and two others on
the Hot 50 list. Acquiring all five of those varieties will pose a
serious challenge. This piece has brilliant silver luster and
frosty surfaces without toning aside from a sliver of gold at the
