Extraordinary 1886-O Morgan, MS64
1886-O $1 MS64 PCGS. CAC. Both sides of this entirely untoned near-Gem have frosty silver luster and nearly full design details with only slight weakness above the ear. Although a few scattered marks are evident, they are entirely consistent with the grade. In fact, this piece has exceptional aesthetic appeal equal to that of many full Gem Morgan dollars. The '86-O is noted for its conditional rarity in higher grades, with a PCGS population of just four full Gem specimens (8/08).(Registry values: P8, N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 254W, PCGS# 7168, GSID# 7536)
