Description

1886-S $1 MS65 NGC. Most Uncirculated 1886-S dollars exist in the lower grade ranges of MS60 to MS63 or MS64. A sharp drop occurs in the certified population at the MS65 level. The current Gem received an attentive strike, and possesses attractive luster. Essentially untoned surfaces are generally better preserved than what might be expected for the grade designation.
