Wonderful Gem 1886-S Morgan Dollar, MS65
1886-S $1 MS65 PCGS. Housed in an older green-label holder, the surfaces of this brilliant Gem are exceptional, with hardly a mark on either side. Just a trace of pale gold toning follows the obverse and reverse borders. The strike is bold, including partial separation of the hair strands over the ear. PCGS has only certified 33 circulation strike dollars finer than this piece, in a green-label holder (8/08).(Registry values: P6, N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 254X, PCGS# 7170, GSID# 7538)
