1886-S $1 MS66 NGC. While it is not so prominent as a number of its S-mint fellows, the 1886-S is a low-mintage issue that is particularly prized in the better Mint State grades. This shining Premium Gem, silver-white with echoes of golden-tan close to the rims, is pleasingly detailed and carefully preserved.
