1887 $1 Donkey Tail AU53 PCGS. VAM-1A, R.6. A Top 100 Variety. A small die break beneath the right side of the D in DOLLAR explains the "Donkey Tail" nickname. The cheek and the field near the arrowheads are somewhat abraded. Nearly unobtainable in Mint State, and even AU examples are rarities.
