Description

1887 $1 MS67 NGC. Ex: Jack Lee Collection, Part III. Without a doubt, this is one of the most common dates in the entire Morgan dollar series, except in Superb condition. In fact, fewer than 265 examples have been certified by both NGC and PCGS for this date in MS67 or finer quality, and only three of those coins received a higher grade. This is a frosty and Superb Gem with remarkable eye appeal. Both the obverse and the reverse are fully brilliant without any evidence of toning. Careful examination with a magnifier is necessary to find even the smallest ticks on the surface.
