Attractive 1887/6 Morgan Dollar, Gem Mint State
1887/6 $1 MS65 PCGS. VAM-2. A Top 100 Variety. While PCGS has not designated this piece Prooflike, the fields are unquestionably so. Besides the highly reflective surfaces, this brilliant specimen exhibits a bold strike and frosty devices. Scattered reeding marks and light grazes define the grade, although none merit individual mention. A trace of the underdigit 6 is easily visible under magnification. PCGS has certified a mere seven coins finer (7/08). (Registry values: P4, N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 7174, GSID# 7540)
