Description

1887/6-O $1 MS63 PCGS. CAC. VAM-3. A Top 100 Variety. Both sides of this Select Mint State piece have light gold toning over frosty silver luster. The strike is sharp, bringing up the design elements, especially the overdate feature. The existence of Philadelphia and New Orleans overdate varieties have prompted some to suggest that there might also be an 1887/6 dollar from San Francisco, but none have been located.(Registry values: P6, N1793)
