Not Sold Description
Well Struck 1887-S Dollar, MS65
1887-S $1 MS65 NGC. Striking varies on the 1887-S, but many show weakness on the hair over Liberty's ear and on the eagle's breast feathers (David Bowers, 2005). The Gem in this lot was in receipt of a solid strike, as all of the design features exhibit sharp detail, including the aforementioned areas. A few wisps of light tan color appear under magnification, and lustrous surfaces reveal just a few grade-consistent marks. From The Arnold & Harriet Collection, Part Two.(Registry values: P6, N2998)
