1888 $1 MS67 NGC. From the enormous mintage approaching 20 million coins, only a few examples reach or exceed the Superb Gem level. This piece well merits the designation, however, with beaming cartwheel luster over frosty ice-white surfaces. The strike is essentially full, and the few contact marks are minor.
